Dr. Adriana Jaramillo is a proud alum of Marquette University School of Dentistry (DDS 2003), has served as academic staff in the surgery department at the University of Wisconsin Medical School and is an active member of the Dental Examining Board of Wisconsin. A dedicated practitioner, she is committed to the dental profession and to achieving the highest standards of care for her patients and community.
The achievements of Dr. Jaramillo are the result of a lifetime commitment to dentistry. With the support of her husband, she raised two children, worked as a dental assistant, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Pre–Dental Studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison (B.A. 1999).
While at Marquette University School of Dentistry, she volunteered working with prospective dental students and as a mentor for incoming dental students. Dr. Jaramillo also received several distinctions and awards based on academic performance and professionalism.
After graduating from Marquette, Dr. Jaramillo served her community through the U.W. Hospitals & Clinics Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, providing comprehensive dental care for children. She also volunteered as a dentist with the Madison Community Health Center and as an instructor for the Hygiene and Dental Assisting programs at Madison Area Technical College. Under Governor Doyle, her professionalism, integrity and dedication to dentistry was recognized by an appointment to the Wisconsin Dental Examining Board. In 2005, Dr. Jaramillo realized a lifetime goal of having her own practice.
Since establishing her practice, Dr. Jaramillo has developed a reputation for caring about her patients and being a perfectionist in her work. It is not rare to see her giving patients facial massages after a long procedure. When asked what she likes most about being a dentist, Dr. Jaramillo says, “I love getting to know my patients and seeing the difference I make in their lives.”
